Background

To give you a better idea as to why I started off this blog with listing things to do to feel like your old self after you have a baby, it is because I didn’t feel like myself for months. While I was so incredibly, over the moon, 100% in love with my new baby girl, I couldn’t wrap my head around making time for myself in the beginning. People kept telling me to “sleep when the baby sleeps” and “ take time out for yourself each day” but I literally didn’t know how that was possible in the beginning. To give you a little perspective, my daughter is now 10 months and I think around 6 months is when I started to see light at the end of the tunnel.

Don’t get me wrong, I really and truly love being a mom and there isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t thank God that she is here and happy and healthy. My husband and I are so blessed and so thankful. So the purpose of this blog is to allow me to unleash my creative side and enjoy those moments to myself that can be few and far between but that still allow me to feel stylish, fun and adventurous.
